I personally didn't find it funny that the so-called Twitter activists were all mute on that issue. My discontentment stems from the activities we've so far witnessed on twitter, the last few weeks.
Let me make a bold statement here before I proceed further in this write-up that I am neither an Apostle of this government Policies nor a fan of the APC.
Mr President has so far not met my personal expectations I so voted for. The reasons for his failures may be cogent as we cannot pretend not to know that some evil forces has made governance impossible even before his first 100 days in office. Notwithstanding, as the leader of this country he has to take responsibility of failed government policies.
Nigerians would however be unfair to this government as some twitter overlords may want to do, portraying the government to have totally failed in all its endeavour. I am so far impressed with the reforms going on in the power sector as it is being well repositioned for proper business. I can make bold to say that more than half of Nigerians don't pay electricity bills. Such an unpatriotic act can only be witnessed only in a country as ours.With the on-going privatization in that sector,I see a better service delivery, particularly in the electricity distribution most especially when there is the injection of more power as more and more Integrated Power projects are being commissioned.
That is however just one of the sectors of the economy, and so I remain vehement in my call for more action from this government in fulfilling its electoral promise to the populace. In constructively criticising, I try to be objective not to be seen as a regional Bigot as some may seek to label some of us who dare make an attempt in praising the Government in whatsoever capacity. These overlords who pretend to be Patriot don't understand a bit of what it takes to be a patriot. They tend to distort issues when it comes to politicians from other regions. The zeal with which they pursue their agenda, I would have admired if they are truly sincere. They are quick to call names labelling some folks who toll their path from another front as Bigots when in fact they have since proven to be the regional Bigots we have around.
Last week the President was in far away Israel performing his right first as a Christian and as the President. The Internet went agog with all sorts of Pictures and insults channelled to ridicule the Person and character of Mr President. They were quick in sharing photos with a lot of derogatory captions, persons of sane minds would not do to their beloved country. I have since come to realise that if you want to be loved and accepted by these cabal; two things you must do: Insult the President and then the Clergy. The Internet is not meant for Nigerians alone. Its a world Arena were all come to be fed with Information. What these so-called patriot could do was to portray our country in a bad light. I say so because the Office of the presidency represents not just the President but her people.
These twitter Entrepreneurs would want to make us believe they are non-partisan with no preference for a particular Party. I make bold to challenge them that they are all Open liars as we all now know their Regional Inclination and biase. I watch with awe to see if they would deploy same speed in condemning activities of leaders of the APC in the sound west. A party I have christened a SET OF NEW THIEVES; but to my greatest discontentment, they kept sealed lip and pretended like its not an issue to discuss.
We are all not oblivious of the Activities of Tinubu; who is the new Maradona and godfather of the South-West. Had his Wife as a Senator removing a better representative and well known politician to fulfill Bedroom matters and Now the Imposition of his young Daughter as the Iya-loja of Lagos. If I must be fair, one Name stand out; @egbas( Mr Jude Egbas), he was the only one amongst the known names who have been in the forefront of public criticism of Government Officials to condemn in all Honesty the Travesty of Power play being foisted on the people of Lagos State and the Yoruba Nation.
At this junction, I want to admit that just everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, but let it be known that they should all desist henceforth from calling names as people like me will and shall not hesitate to remind them that they are not different. There is a saying in pigin english, it says "SOUP WEY U NOR WAN EAT MAKE U NOR USE UR TEETH DIVIDE THE MEAT". We now know your Political inclinations.
To those of us that look towards a Better Nigeria devoid of religious bickering, Tribe and Ethnic Inclination; shall no longer take you seriously as you represent not the interest of the masses but your personal gain. Don't worry, not too long from now some of you would be called upon by your Lord and Master to serve in whatsoever capacity. Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
