AMAECHI AN EPITOME OF COURAGE

Photo Credit: Sahara reporters(Gov. Amaechi being greeted by a mammoth crowd)
Amaechi an epitome of courage was the words used to describe the amiable Governor of Rivers State by the National Chairman of APC, Chief Bisi Akande.

These remarks were made when the Governor received the National leaders of the All Progressive Congress who were in the State to woo the Governor to their party.

In several statements made by the APC leaders the summation of their comments was that since the Governors party were not appreciative of the Developmental strides of the Governor and since the leaking Umbrella can no longer accommodate neither shield the Governor from the scorching sun, It has become imperative that he jumps into the moving train so as to get to the promise land of political emancipation.

Amaechi in his response being a well schooled political gladiator however promised to consult with the President who is his leader and the people to whom power belongs.
He posited that his political foes are those bent on "chop I chop" government to which he vehemently opposed.Since some of these folks have no other business than government they have since gone hungry and when the opportunity arose to cause disharmony in the State they quickly jumped ship and has since been terrorizing the state with the assistance of the Anointed Governor of the State, Mr Mbu whom the Presidency and the Inspector General of Police has refused to transfer in total disregard to the calls and resolution of both Houses of the National Assembly.

Call it rented crowd or what have you, the popularity of Governor Amaechi is undisputed and incontrovertible. It is also an unmitigated fact that it would be total miscalculation if the President would be ill-advised that the Wicked Wike stand the chance of usurping Amaechi in Rivers politics.

Let them continue to plant their Grassroot whatsoever initiative. The people would stand tall behind a Governor whose projects are visible even to the blind; whose accolades from far and near are audible to the deaf. Wike and his group have no future in Rivers politics. A word is enough for the wise. The political persecution of the Governor is getting to its crescendo. Soonest he would have to choose whom he would serve. The president had better present and extend his hand of fellowship to the best Governor PDP has in its ranks.

Let him that has an ear listen to some wise counsel and cleanse his/her eyes from Power as absolute power belongs to God.
This just my humble submission on issues arising from the Rivers politics.
