Reports in public domain has it that earlier today former CAN President and Primate of the Anglican Church Peter Jasper Akinola was kidnapped. The attack occurred near along Abeokuta Lagos expressway. The former Primate was later rescued by Ogun State security forces personally led by Governor Ibikunle Amosun who though reports are sketchy but widely believed to have footed the ransom bill.
