PU your article is more or less an open letter to your friend no doubt as raised by one of the commenters. You were very systematic by trying not to be confrontational leaving the judgement to whosoever reads this piece. Reading between the lines your thoughts and views are certainly not out of place but an elder statues man you would do us more favour by trying not be too academic but put your views on thought point blank instead of sitting on the fence
