She Indeed shared her concerns with Me- Osoba

Iyabo Obasanjo refuted reports she did sent in a damning letter about her revered Father to a renowned News media, the media ruse has since not died down. There are reports from top politicians though from the Opposition that she indeed shared these concerns.

A former Governor Segun Osoba of Ogun State who is also a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has confirmed that he met Iyabo Obasanjo, the daughter of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, during his trip to the United States in September 2013. Recounting his chance meeting with Ms. Obasanjo to SaharaReporters, Chief Osoba said he was in the United States for the 73rd anniversary of the Nieman Foundation Fellowship when he ran into Iyabo, a former senator in Nigeria. The former governor told SaharaReporters he was staying at The Charles Hotel in Cambridge when he had a chance encounter with the daughter of the former president who told him her car was parked in the hotel’s basement parking lot.

Amaechi: Okupe Is President Jonathan’s Worst Enemy(PRESS RELEASE)

Again, on Saturday August, 18, 2013, Presidential Assistant on Public Affairs Dr. Doyin Okupe on a radio programme, continued his grossly irresponsible, repugnant and contemptuous, albeit, feckless mission of denigrating and disparaging the person and office of the Governor of Rivers State and the Chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum(NGF), Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi.

In the past few weeks, we elected to ignore scurrilous statements from Okupe, as we do not wish to, wittingly or unwittingly, avail him with a sparring partner as he strives, though fecklessly yet again, to elevate his act from an attack puppy to an attack dog  Moreover, like most Nigerians, we believe that Okupe is an irrelevant in the political equation that no serious-minded person should take seriously. Over time, his comments and statements are akin to some sort of notice-me monkey dance in front of his boss and his band of cheerleaders.

Ordinarily I would not react to unadulterated rubbish but on this occassion, given the seriousness and sheer absurdity of the allegations, I will do so. In a futile attempt to distract attention from the raging debate that was sparked off by my essays on the igbo/Lagos state issue and in order to exact their revenge on me for some of the positions that I took during that debate a demonically-inspired individual, who I gather was specially commissioned and paid by some unscrupolous individuals, has concoted a venal tale about my wife and children where it is alleged that they ''slept with'' President Olusegun Obasanjo, Vice President Atiku Abubakar, my cooks and my security guards.
