Congratulations to British-Nigerian actor Chiwetel Ejiofor for picking up his first major award.
At the EE British Academy Film Awards 2014 held Sunday 16th February 2014, the 12 Years a Slave actor beat Leonardo DiCaprio, Christian Bale and Tom Hanks for the Leading Actor award.
In his acceptance speech, he thanked the movie’s director Steve McQueen, the cast of the movie especially Michael Fassbender, his mom and his late dad.
