Beyoncé tweaking at the Grammy's

It was some sort of foreplay by Mr and Mrs Carter at the grammy's. Quite unfortunate as it seems as the world watched in awe as the rap Star watched his wife twerked her butt before the cynosure of all eyes. Some even confessed they had some mind blowing sex with their sin partners after that scintillating performers. However, it has to be said that the performers by Beyoncé was disgraceful and does not represent what is moral and should be condemned by all. Have your say. Let's know what you feel about this event.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has declared that only a foolish man will vote for President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 general election.
Amaechi said this on Saturday at a rally in Bori, Ogoni land after previous attempts where the police and hoodlums disrupted similar rallies, shooting sporadically into the crowd and scores injured.
He blamed the police Commissioner, Mr. Joseph Mbu, for allowing militants take up arms against the people.
According to Amaechi: ”The same people (militants) we chased away with the military are back to our state, fuelled by a man called Mbu and his cohorts in Abuja.
“They do not mind that your lives are important. They want to sacrifice your lives just to earn the office of presidency and the office of governorship,” Amaechi told his supporters at Saints’ Anglican Church premises.

French President ends relationship with First Lady

PARIS (AP) — A French news agency has reported that the French President has ended his relationship with his companion of seven years, Valerie Trierweiler.

Agence France Press reports that Hollande said in a telephone conversation with the news agency Saturday evening that "I make it known that I have put an end" to his relationship with Trierweiler, who was the country's first lady, two weeks after a tabloid report that Hollande was having an affair with a French actress.

Bafarawa back to his vomit

I am not surprised he came out today to eat up his vomit. This is a man with no political ideology and one we can boldly call a political prostitute. It is quite unfortunate the PDP has become a c**t which accepts just any D**k. More drama to unfold within the party getting All Person's Confused.

Reports abound that the Former governor of Sokoto State, Attahiru Bafarawa, this afternoon in Sokoto formally made it known that he has dumped All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The defection of Bafarawa was made public in Sokoto by his media advisor, Yusuf Dingyadi, who said the former governor made the “collective and unanimous decision” on the basis of a consensus reached by his associates and supporters from the 23 local governments of the state.
He said Bafarawa and his associates no longer believed they will get justice and a sense of belonging in the APC.
As at the time Bafarawa’s defection was announced, the leaderships of defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), All Nigerian Peoples Party and also Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) throughout the 23 local government areas of the state has officially defected to the APC.

When Will Our Shackles Be Broken? By Femi Fani-Kayode

By Femi Fani-Kayode
On the 20th April 1653 Oliver Cromwell, who was the Lord Protector of England, Scotland and Ireland and the greatest statesman and revolutionary that England ever knew, stormed the English ''Rump Parliament'' at Westminster and courageously pronounced the following words after which he sacked Parliament and boldly took power. He said-
''It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your country for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money. Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter'd your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the Republic? Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil'd this sacred place, and turn'd the democracy temple into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole nation; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress'd, are yourselves gone! So! Take away that shining bauble there, and lock up the doors. In the name of God, go!'' -OLIVER CROMWELL (1599-1658).

SSS vs El-Rufai: This Government Is Weak, Nervous & Without A Moral Compass – Femi Fani-Kayode

It has been brought to my attention that heavily armed operatives of the SSS have stormed the home of my friend and brother Mallam Nasir El Rufai. What was his crime? He stated the obvious and told the truth- namely that if the Presidential elections are rigged in 2015 by the ruling PDP the people would rise up and there would be terrible violence and colossal casualties.

police officers were allegedly caught having wildsex

Two police officers were allegedly caught trespassing and in flagrante delicto in a swanky East Hampton, N.Y., cottage by the homeowner's guests.

An unnamed 31-year-old patrolman and a 20-year-old female part-time traffic control officer were so focused on their sexy stakeout that they apparently didn't notice the guests' arrival, the New York Post reported.

Marijuana no more Dangerous than Alcohol- Obama

Majority of Americans now favor marijuana legalization. How times change and definition of good morals change over time in America.  President Barack Obama tune is gradually changing on many moral issues and he is now saying weed is no more dangerous to individuals' health than alcohol. This is simply giving good riddance to rubbish.

In an interview with the New Yorker's David Remnick published Sunday, Obama said while he believes marijuana is "not very healthy," the drug isn't as harmful as some insist.

When asked if he believes marijuana is less harmful than alcohol, Obama said it is less damaging "in terms of its impact on the individual consumer."

"It’s not something I encourage, and I’ve told my daughters I think it’s a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy," he added.

Who’s Deceiving The President?- Dele Momodu

Fellow Nigerians, the perennial crises rocking the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP, came to a sub-crescendo a few days ago.

The prophecy of what to come had long been foretold on this page when I pleaded with Daddy, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, not to take a problematic and trouble-prone job from such an unruly assemblage that has never been known to keep its promises or indeed, its house in order.

My plea was anchored on the fact that Alhaji had worked too hard, and for far too long, to become a global citizen and he did not have to downgrade his status and profile to the level of a local champion. I believe that Alhaji had already become a fixture on the world stage and should have avoided the type of altercations that he subjected himself to in the past two years which led to his being harangued and demonised by politicians who ordinarily should defer and kowtow to him.

Nun gives birth in Italy, names baby Francesco

ROME (AFP) – A Salvadorean nun who said she had no idea she was pregnant gave birth in Italy this week after she felt stomach cramps in her convent and was rushed to hospital, Italian media reported on Friday.

The 31-year-old mother and her baby boy, who weighs 3.5 kilogrammes (nine pounds), are doing well and other new mothers in Rieti hospital have begun collecting clothes and donations for her, the reports said.

“I did not know I was pregnant. I only felt a stomach pain,” the nun was quoted as saying at the hospital, the Italian news agency ANSA reported.

La Repubblica said she gave birth on Wednesday.

ANSA said the nun had named her baby Francesco (Francis) — also the pope’s chosen title and one of the most popular names in Italy, where St Francis of Assisi is the much-loved national patron saint.

The hospital could not be reached for comment.

PRESS RELEASE: OKONJO-IWEALA AND WAIVERS: ANOTHER LIE FROM A LYING NEWS MEDIUM - SAHARAREPORTERS

The latest story on waivers published by Saharareporters mixes lies with ignorance of the federal government’s fiscal policy.

It also demonstrates, once again, that the notorious news medium is allied with people who are working against the best interests of Nigeria.

In another unwarranted attack on the Coordinating Minister, Saharareporters alleged, based on information it claimed that it obtained from an unidentified source in the Nigerian Customs Service that the country has lost $9 billion to “fraudulent import waivers granted between 2011 and 2013” by Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as Minister of Finance.

Nigeria At Centenary, A Nation Under Bondage? By Tunde Bakare

Protocols: It was Frank Rooney who said, “Immortality is the genius to move others long after you yourself have stopped moving”. We gather here today in honour of a man who, though dead, yet still speaks to the conscience of our nation; though his frame has returned to the earth, his name stands tall above the perversity of his generation and though his soul rests on the other side of eternity, his ideals continue to move humanity in the quest for a just and equitable society.

Abdul Ganiyu Oyesola Fawehinmi, Senior Advocate of the Masses, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, the dread of dictators, a thorn in the flesh of oppressors, defender of the poor, the people’s lawyer, known by all simply as "Gani", truly lives on. Gani is remembered today not for the houses he built though he built a few edifices, not for the cars he rode, though he was wealthy enough to afford them, not for his professional attainment though he won quite a few awards including the Bruno Kreisky Price for internationally recognized human rights advocates, the International Bar Association’s Bennard Simon’s Award and, eventually, the highest honour in the Nigerian legal profession - Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) after having been politically denied his due for many years - no, Gani is remembered today, not for any of these, for indeed, many others have attained these heights and won these recognitions; rather, Gani is remembered today for the lives he uniquely touched.

Rivers State a River soon to be set on Fire- OGHAGHARE ESE

I simply don't why people would not just say it as it is, point blank. President Jonathan is playing a Gestapo kind of politics devoid of fairness and equity. The bias is quite visible as this is not what should be expected of a President who claims he supports the rule of law.

It is in public domain how the dishonorable Minister of Education was not particular about the impending ASUU strike but was more concern about the Masters' assignment of making Rivers State ungovernable. The grassroot development Initiative(GDI) led by the minister has been launching and holding rallies in the state without disruption by the Police. It is not surprising though as it is common knowledge the state commissioner is simply taking orders from the Minister, the President's wife and Evans Bipi .

As we speak, a serving senator is fighting for his life for being in the opposition and refusing to serve a dieing master. I find it disheartening that a schooled Police officer would be telling a lie on live tv, that the police did not fire a single bullet when in fact the Senator was hit by some rubber bullet, supposedly on the chest and on the leg. That must be some premedicated attempt on his life, buttressing the claim of Baba himself. Little wonder,Femi Kayode is already assuming the senator was amongst the hit list, 999 more to go. The question might just be who is next on the list and just when?

I sit and Just wait to see the River being Set on Fire. One thing is sure the inferno would be difficult to contain. Let those that have some sense left for reasoning give heed to common sense and stop this carnage now.

The Gutless Eunuch And The Spirit Of The Jagaban, By Femi Fani-Kayode

Femi Kayode
Permit me to begin this contribution by quoting from a portion of an essay that I wrote on 26 September 2011, which was titled ”On Goodluck Jonathan, David and Goliath”. The portion reads as follows:

”A few days ago from the sacred pulpit of the hallowed chambers of the National Christian Centre in Abuja and in the presence of the entire leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan proclaimed as follows- ‘I am not David….I am not a general…..I am not a lion….I will defeat the Goliaths in our land’. These are deep and instructive words yet I do wonder whether Mr. President understands the spiritual and practical implications of what he is saying.

President Jonathan’s 11th Private Jet! -Theophilus Ilevbare

The presidency has made a proposal for an upfront deposit of N1.5billion for a brand new private jet, what will become the Presidential Air Fleet’s (PAF) 11th aircraft. This figure is contained in the details of the 2014 Appropriation Bill presented to the National Assembly by President Goodluck Jonathan through the Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. The Federal Government has budgeted another N1.52b for the maintenance of the 10 aircraft currently in the PAF in 2014 and it is now set to spend just about that amount on a new one. This prodigious squandering of tax payers’ money is reckless and irresponsible.

The PAF already boasts of two Falcon 7X jets, two Falcon 900 jets, Gulfstream 550, one Boeing 737 BBJ (Nigerian Air Force 001 or Eagle One), and Gulfstream IVSP. Others are one Gulfstream V, Cessna Citation 2 aircraft and Hawker Siddley 125-800 jet. The combined estimated value of the PAF is about $390.5m (N60.53bn). According to industry experts, it costs a minimum of 20 percent of that figure to maintain them annually. So we’re looking at about $58.57m (N9.08bn) yearly for maintenance. Private jets are money guzzlers either in the air or land.

First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan Orders Rivers Police Commissioner Mbu To Release Arrested Armed Thugs Of Her Political Allies

In a rare show of power she constitutionally doesn't have, Nigeria's First Lady Patience Jonathan has reportedly ordered the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mbu Joseph Mbu, to release the armed thugs of her close political allies, Senator George Sekibo and Evans Bipi.

The six men were arrested on Friday by the Joint Military Task Force (JTF) in Ogu, the hometown of the two politicians, and they were handed over to the police for prosecution.

But SaharaReporters has authoritatively learned that Mrs. Jonathan ordered Mr. Mbu to release the suspects as well as return to them the arms and ammunition that were found in their possession. It is as yet unclear if Mbu has complied with the order, but Mr. Bipi, a former domestic aide of Mrs. Jonathan, is understood to be actively trying to ensure the release.

Meanwhile a crisis of confidence seems to have erupted between the JTF/Army and the police in Rivers State concerning how the story, which was broken by Saharareporters, leaked to the media. Mbu is said to have complained loudly that the Army/JTF must have leaked the story to the media.

The police commissioner is further said to have lamented that the other security agencies (Army, Navy, Airforce, SSS) in the State are not helping him and the police at all in the fight against Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi. According to our source, he is citing the arrest of the six men and the subsequent leakage of the story as an example of such lack of cooperation, arguing that had the arrest been made by the Rivers State police command, the media would not have heard about it.

NEW YEAR MESSAGE TO THE NATION FROM PRESIDENT GOODLUCK EBELE JONATHAN, GCFR DECEMBER 31, 2013

Dear Compatriots,
I greet and felicitate with you all as we enter the year 2014 which promises to be a momentous one for our country for several reasons, including the fact that it is also the year of our great nation’s centenary celebrations. I join you all in giving thanks to God Almighty for guiding us and our beloved nation safely through all the challenges of the outgoing year to the beginning of 2014.

Exactly 100 years ago today, on January 1, 1914, the British Colonial authorities amalgamated what was then the separate Protectorates of Southern Nigeria and Northern Nigeria, giving birth to the single geopolitical entity known as Nigeria. For us therefore, today is not just the beginning of a new year, but the end of a century of national existence and the beginning of another. It is a moment for sober reflection and for pride in all that is great about Nigeria.
