Jailed producer not a Nigerian

Contrary to reports, the music video producer recently convicted for raping his daughters, Aswad Ayinde, is American and not a Nigerian, writes CHUX OHAI

Emerging feelers indicate that the award-winning music video producer, Aswad Ayinde, who was allegedly sentenced to 90 years in jail in the USA for fathering six children with his own daughters, is not a Nigerian after all.

Ayinde, whose real name is believed to be either Eric McGill or Charles McGill, has been described as a ‘misguided’ Afrocentric American who, in the process of  tracing his roots back to Africa, decided to adopt a Nigerian name. He is an American citizen and a resident of Paterson, New Jersey.

A controversy appears to surround the actual identity of the shamed producer on social media. Just as various reports identify him as Eric McGill, a quick check online shows that Ayinde was mentioned in a story published by True Crime Report as Charles McGill.   Full Story?

Alzheimer's Symptoms 'Linked To Gum Disease And Poor Dental Health

Poor dental health and gum disease may be linked to Alzheimer's disease, a study suggests.

Brains of deceased dementia patients were found to contain signs of Porphyromonas gingivalis, the bug responsible for unhealthy gums.

Scientists believe when the bacteria reach the brain they trigger an immune response that can lead to the death of neurons.

The process could help drive the changes that are typical of Alzheimer's disease, causing symptoms of confusion and memory loss.

Brad Pitt Promotes World War Z In Japan And Angelina Steals The Show

When it comes to a red carpet dress that does ALL the talking Angelina Jolie plays it right - every time. This week was the Japan premiere of her fiancé Brad Pitt's latest flick World War Z and Ange was right there by his side in a stunning black, asymmetric Saint Laurent dress, naturally.

Now they might just be one of Hollywood's hottest couples - but this week it was Ange doing the gorgeous glamorous thing while Brad attempted smart-cas on the red carpet. She totally stole the show - and sorry Brad but the long hair thing is losing that smouldering effect. Whereas the short, cropped style circa Fight Club was SO you.

Brad and Ange are clearly head over heels in love and with a hint at what they might be planning for their big day revealed earlier this month - yes a ceremony onboard the Hebridean Princess (think luxe cruise liner) - we can't wait to see them together as bride and groom.

Add caption

I blossom this morning with much joy when I heard the glorious news of the sack of some very corrupt lecturers at the University of Benin.

The untouchables suddenly became touchables when the new man at the helm of affairs Professor Oshodin took the step of honor by enlisting with the Army of Truth by the sacking these corrupt lecturers. There offenses stem from sex related offenses to extortion of money from students.

You begin to wonder how many females must have being victimized. Many are testifying. From a friend's facebook page where I first saw this story, a girl gave a sordid narration of how in the examination hall One of these notorious lecturers would be demanding she better yields else she was promised failure. Thank-God for the mother she had, who would have believed her. Alas true to his words she had an extension and she testified it was by grace she graduated. It is left to our imagination what grade she left the University scene
