Presidential Hand Vs The Hand of God

Several reactions have greeted the actions of hitherto "honourable members" of the River State house of assembly carrying out indiscretion-able "horrible acts"( someone rightly referring to them as horrible members of the house).

These acts speaks no good of us and it only goes to make a mockery of the so called nascent democracy and unnecessarily heat-up the polity.

Its a pity the President is displaying a sense of political immaturity in handling simple matters as these. It clearly defines his political clout- one characterized by political dwarfs and neophytes called advisers.

The unseen hand of the President is written all over the scene of action; clearly observed by even the street urchin more-or-less the educated few in the society. Otherwise, what gives five(5) members of the house the impetus, ambiguity and audacity they have effortlessly displayed in bringing down the fabrics of our constitution but for the support of the states' apparatus at their disposal.

It is quite an easy task for Dr. Abati, Dr. Okupe and Mr. Reno Omokri to deny the hand of the President in this matter. The actions of the commissioner of Police and the withdrawal of troupes stationed at the government house goes to exonerate the President.

Even as the opposition APC (Armored personnel carriers) watches in awe, basking in the euphoria of these events just as the PDP(People deceiving  People) seems to implode; it is worthy of note that Nigerians see them the opposition as a conglomerate of disillusioned , out-of -work politicians, who have no business in politics. They  have no other business or career order than being in the circles of power not for the service of humanity but for selfish political interest- more money and wealth, new wives, choice properties, oil blocs, lands for family, friends and girl friends, market positions for family members, ministerial appointments, furtherance of religious bigotry and "god fatherism".

It is quite true to say Nigerians have not being impressed with the leadership style of the President but let it be known that "Nigerians in the midst of their displeasure, may hold unto the devil they know. Especially where there is no credible opposition- one defined by clear ideologies, an agenda, clear focus and direction, a history of uprightness and sagacity. An opposition with an attitude, ready to discuss issues not propaganda; am talking about an evidence-based leadership.

As the political hippopotamuses and gladiators continue to act in the political theatre, the judges (the people) are scoring and very soon the score board would be shown to all.

The wind of change shall blow; the chaff would be separated from the wheat. I urge the youth to anchor strong in the principles of TRUTH; because only truth shall prevail. We shall not be overwhelmed with FEAR (False Experiences Appearing Real) but by Truth ( True Route Under The Hill); for by truth we shall navigate the Hills and mountains of Fear.

The Egyptians you see today; you shall see no-more. Nigeria shall not be syrialized. Only the " the Hand of God "shall be seen and leading us to our desired destination.

  1. It is quite a funny condition that the entity called Nigeria, our beloved country has found itself.
It has become a basket of rotten examples of democratic settings.
This is the Result of nothing else but promotion of mediocity, and the casting away of Meritocracy. It will continue like this unless Merits assumes it position and every form of sentimentality is dethroned.
God Bless our dear Home Nigeria
